For the days when your body feels like a mystery, Rhythm was created for women navigating the ups and downs of their monthly cycle, perimenopause, menopause, and hormonal shifts that can leave them feeling unlike themselves.
At the heart of this body oil blend is a highly concentrated 1:5 infusion of wild harvested wild yam root, chasteberry, and red clover into organic golden jojoba oil and organic hexane-free castor oil. Wild yam root makes up 60% of the herbal extraction, creating a powerful botanical formula inspired by generations of women's herbal wisdom. These herbs are often chosen by women experiencing symptoms associated with hormonal fluctuations such as mood swings, irregular cycles, hot flashes, restless sleep, irritability, and PMS.
Wild yam root has long been associated with women's hormonal health and is rich in naturally occurring diosgenin, a plant compound that has made it one of the most well-known herbs for women experiencing hormonal transitions. While it does not convert to progesterone in the body, it does open pathways to allow the body to make its own progesterone, increasing production naturally while regulating estrogen and testosterone. Chasteberry is traditionally used to support healthy cyclical rhythms and may help the body maintain healthy hormone signaling. Red clover contains naturally occurring phytoestrogens and has been valued for centuries by women seeking support during perimenopause and menopause.
Together, these herbs are often used in traditional herbalism to support the body's natural hormonal pathways and encourage greater harmony between estrogen, progesterone, and other reproductive hormones.
Many women report noticing improvements in sleep quality, mood stability, cycle regularity, PMS symptoms, and hot flashes with consistent use over time. Because the body is highly individual, some women may initially experience temporary changes as their body adjusts to a new wellness routine. This can include a short-term increase in symptoms before improvements are noticed and is completely normal.
Finished with clary sage and palmarosa essential oils, Rhythm offers a beautiful and calming daily ritual that invites you to slow down, reconnect with your body, and support yourself through every season of womanhood.

How To Use
Shake well. Apply 2 pumps twice daily to soft tissue areas such as the inner thighs, breasts, lower abdomen. Massage in. Pause use for 5–7 days during menstruation, then resume after your cycle ends. If no longer menstruating, pause use for 1 week each month. Contains whole-plant herbal infusions; natural sediment may occur.
Golden Jojoba Oil
Despite being commonly referred to as an oil, jojoba is actually a liquid wax extracted from the seeds of the jojoba shrub (Simmondsia chinensis), a resilient plant native to the deserts of the southwestern United States and northern Mexico. For centuries, Indigenous peoples valued jojoba for its ability to protect and condition both skin and hair in harsh, arid climates.
Jojoba is unique because its molecular structure closely resembles the natural sebum produced by human skin. This allows it to absorb readily without feeling greasy while helping to maintain the skin's moisture barrier. It is naturally rich in vitamin E, phytosterols, and antioxidant compounds that help protect the skin from environmental stressors.
Unlike many plant oils, jojoba contains primarily long-chain wax esters rather than triglycerides, making it remarkably stable and resistant to oxidation. This stability helps preserve the delicate plant compounds infused into Rhythm while providing a lightweight base that carries herbal constituents deep into the skin. Jojoba is traditionally chosen in botanical formulations for its balancing, soothing, and deeply conditioning properties.
Castor Oil
Castor oil is pressed from the seeds of the castor plant (Ricinus communis), which has been cultivated throughout Africa, India, and the Mediterranean region for thousands of years. Historical records show castor oil being used in Ancient Egypt for both cosmetic and wellness purposes, where it was valued for its rich, nourishing qualities.
The primary fatty acid found in castor oil is ricinoleic acid, a rare omega-9 fatty acid that typically comprises 85–90% of the oil. This unique composition gives castor oil its characteristic thickness and makes it particularly effective at supporting skin hydration by helping to reduce transepidermal water loss.
Castor oil is also rich in vitamin E, phytosterols, and antioxidant compounds that help maintain healthy skin. In herbal oil preparations, it is often selected because of its ability to carry botanical constituents while providing a deeply conditioning base. Within Rhythm, castor oil contributes richness, glide, and lasting nourishment while helping the infused herbs remain in contact with the skin during massage.
Wild Yam Root
Wild yam (Dioscorea villosa) is a climbing vine native to eastern North America. Its root has a long history of use in traditional herbalism, particularly among Indigenous communities and later Western herbal practitioners who valued it for women's wellness and reproductive health.
Wild yam root contains naturally occurring steroidal saponins, the most well-known being diosgenin. While the human body cannot directly convert diosgenin into progesterone, this compound has attracted significant scientific interest because of its structural similarity to hormones produced in the body and its historical role in pharmaceutical hormone synthesis.
For generations, wild yam has been incorporated into herbal preparations intended to support women during times of hormonal transition, including menstruation, perimenopause, and menopause. Herbalists often value it for its ability to support comfort, cyclical well-being, and overall hormonal harmony.
In Rhythm, wild yam root represents 60% of the concentrated 1:5 herbal infusion, making it the cornerstone of the formula. Its inclusion reflects both its rich history in women's herbal traditions and its continued popularity among women seeking plant-based support throughout the many seasons of womanhood.
Chastberry (Vitex)
Chasteberry (Vitex agnus-castus) is the fruit of a small flowering shrub native to the Mediterranean region and Western Asia. It has been used for over 2,000 years in herbal traditions and is one of the most widely recognized botanicals associated with women's cyclical wellness.
The berries contain a complex array of bioactive compounds including flavonoids, iridoid glycosides (such as agnuside and aucubin), essential oils, and diterpenes. These compounds have made chasteberry a subject of considerable scientific interest for its relationship to the endocrine system and female reproductive health.
Historically, herbalists have turned to chasteberry to support healthy menstrual rhythms, cyclical comfort, and the hormonal transitions associated with perimenopause and menopause. It is often selected by women seeking support for mood fluctuations, cycle irregularities, breast tenderness, and other symptoms that may accompany changing hormone levels.
Within Rhythm, chasteberry works alongside wild yam root and red clover as part of a concentrated 1:5 botanical infusion. Together, these herbs have long been valued for their ability to support the body's natural hormonal communication pathways and encourage greater cyclical harmony.
Red Clover
Red clover (Trifolium pratense) is a flowering member of the legume family recognized by its beautiful pink-purple blossoms. Native to Europe, Western Asia, and North Africa, it has since naturalized throughout much of the world and has been used in traditional herbal preparations for centuries.
Red clover is particularly rich in naturally occurring isoflavones, including genistein, daidzein, biochanin A, and formononetin. These plant compounds belong to a group known as phytoestrogens, which possess a structure similar to estrogen and have contributed to red clover's long-standing association with women's wellness.
Traditionally, red clover has been used during periods of hormonal transition, particularly throughout perimenopause and menopause. It is often incorporated into herbal protocols intended to support comfort, vitality, and overall well-being during these changes.
Beyond its phytonutrient content, red clover contains minerals such as calcium, magnesium, potassium, and trace minerals that contribute to its reputation as a nourishing botanical. In Rhythm, red clover complements wild yam root and chasteberry to create a blend rooted in generations of herbal wisdom surrounding women's health.
Clary Sage Essential Oil
Clary sage essential oil is steam distilled from the flowering tops and leaves of Salvia sclarea, a fragrant herb native to the Mediterranean region. Its use can be traced back to ancient Greece and Rome, where it was prized for its aromatic and botanical properties.
The oil is naturally rich in linalyl acetate and linalool, two compounds known for their calming, relaxing aroma. These constituents contribute to clary sage's reputation as one of the most beloved essential oils for supporting emotional well-being and relaxation.
Among women, clary sage has become especially popular during menstruation, perimenopause, and menopause due to its traditional association with feminine wellness. Its warm, herbaceous aroma is often used to encourage a sense of calm, emotional grounding, and connection during times of physical and emotional change.
In Rhythm, clary sage adds both aromatic depth and a sense of comfort to the daily application experience, transforming the oil from a simple product into a moment of self-care and reconnection.
Palmarosa Essential Oil
Palmarosa essential oil is distilled from Cymbopogon martinii, a tall aromatic grass native to India and Southeast Asia. Although related to lemongrass, palmarosa possesses a much softer aroma, characterized by delicate floral notes reminiscent of rose.
The oil's primary constituent is geraniol, a naturally occurring compound also found in rose essential oil. Geraniol is valued for its soothing properties and contributes to palmarosa's reputation for supporting healthy skin and emotional balance.
Historically, palmarosa has been used in Ayurvedic practices and botanical skincare preparations for its comforting, uplifting aroma. It is often selected to promote feelings of emotional steadiness and well-being, particularly during times of stress or transition.
Within Rhythm, palmarosa beautifully complements the earthy depth of the infused herbs and the calming nature of clary sage. Its gentle floral character helps create a blend that feels nurturing, feminine, and grounding while enhancing the overall sensory experience of the oil.
What makes Rhythm different from other wild yam creams and oils?
Rhythm is crafted as a highly concentrated herbal infusion, not a diluted cream or lotion. While many wild yam products contain water, fillers, emulsifiers, or a small amount of herbal extract, Rhythm is made with a potent 1:5 botanical infusion featuring wild yam root as 60% of the extraction, complemented by chasteberry and red clover. These herbs are slow-infused directly into a nourishing base of organic jojoba and hexane-free castor oil, delivering concentrated botanical support with every application.
FAQ
-
How long until I see results?
Every woman is different, but many women begin noticing changes within 4–8 weeks of consistent use. Because hormonal health is closely tied to the body's natural cycles, we recommend using Rhythm twice daily for at least one full cycle before evaluating your results.
-
Can I use Rhythm if I still have regular periods?
Yes. Rhythm can be incorporated into your wellness routine whether you're cycling regularly, experiencing irregular cycles, or navigating perimenopause and menopause. In fact, we highly recommend using Rhythm alongside a broader wellness routine that includes herbal teas, nutrient-dense foods, stress management, movement, and quality sleep.
-
Can symptoms temporarily worsen before improving?
In some cases, women may notice a temporary increase in symptoms when first introducing Rhythm. Just as the body often needs time to adjust to changes such as starting birth control, dietary shifts, or new wellness practices, herbal support can also come with an adjustment period. Many women notice this passes with continued use, while others experience no adjustment period at all. As always, listen to your body and use what feels right for you.
-
When should I not apply it?
Do not use if you are pregnant or nursing unless approved by your healthcare provider. Discontinue use if irritation occurs. If you have a medical condition, are taking hormone-related medications, or have concerns about using herbal products, consult your healthcare practitioner before use.
-
How long will one bottle last?
One 2 oz bottle typically lasts about 8–10 weeks when used as directed. Because Rhythm is intended to be used throughout your cycle and paused during menstruation, a single bottle should last through multiple cycles before needing a replacement.
